About
These classes aim to ignite the creative minds of your children through artistic expression, in a positive and welcoming environment. In each session, they will be guided through age-appropriate projects, encompassing activities such as painting, drawing, and crafting, allowing them to
explore and harness their creativity while learning the skills to create original artwork.

Art captivates the senses of children in unstructured play, fostering the growth of cognitive,
social-emotional, and multi-sensory skills. As children advance through elementary school
and beyond, art consistently offers chances for brain development, mastery, self-esteem,
and creative expression.

The Why
I was inspired to develop this program out of my passion for the arts and watching my two young children develop the same intrigue and inspiration through creating. Art shaped my future from a very young age. As a child it gave me confidence, an outlet for emotions and energy, and directed my path through school and into my career. That foundation has continued into my adult life where I now tap into creativity through my children, in my career, home projects, and organizing adult craft nights with friends.

I hold a BFA from the Hartford Art School were I studied everything from Painting and Drawing, to Sculpture and Pottery. I pursued Visual Communication Design and I have been lucky enough to stay in the creative field by way of graphic design and creative marketing for the past 20 years.
